Checklist for your README and home page
The score reads your skill’s files. People and AI assistants read the page around it. Check each item yourself:
- One sentence at the top says what the skill does and for whom.
- Copy-ready install commands for every agent you support.
- Two or three example prompts that should load the skill.
- What the skill reads, runs and sends: scripts, credentials and outside hosts.
- The license, stated in the README and in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
- Your listing badge, linked to your listing.
- The page is indexable and can show a snippet, the requirement Google Search Central states for appearing in AI Overviews and AI Mode.
How the check works
It looks your skill up in the directory’s October 19, 2026 snapshot of 3,798 listed skills, then reads that listing’s report: the graded-v2 score, each component’s points and the three largest open points a publisher controls. Curated-list citations are left out of the suggestions because other people award them. Read the scoring rubric. For the full approach, read How to get your agent skill found in search and cited by AI assistants.
